Jérôme Bernard is a French director, producer, and screenwriter based in Paris, known for his work in luxury advertising and his short films blending dark humor with striking visual effects.
Originally from Brittany, he began with photography and music before studying filmmaking at 3iS in Paris. In 2011, he founded Duck Factory, where he developed a distinctive visual style marked by eccentric characters and a strong integration of VFX into live‑action storytelling.
His work spans multiple fields:
- Luxury & Commercials: campaigns for Guerlain, Armani, TAG Heuer, Yves Rocher, McDonald’s, Decathlon, KFC, and more.
- Short Films: including À peu de chose près (2012), Country Parasite (2012, Canal+), and Carpe Diem (2023).
- Scientific Collaboration: films for the European Space Agency (ESA) on human space exploration.
Beyond directing, he leads several creative ventures:
- Duck Factory / Duck Ventura (film & video production)
- Megalight Studio (co‑founder), specializing in virtual production and new filming technologies.
“Human Space Exploration” unveils Europe’s new space ambitions using innovative technologies to bring humans into major projects.
The film was broadcast on the occasion of the 2022 Space Summit in the presence of the French President and the Ministers in charge of space of the European Union and ESA Member States.
